Charge light comes on for a few minutes but not enough to power to turn on then no charge light for a few days! Very strange, I have googled and cant find a similar problem! I got this from s website as it is the closest I can find

You might panic when you press the power button and find that your tablet doesn’t come to life, but don’t worry it happens from time to time. A number of people have found their Xperia Z2 Tablet refuses to turn on, even though they are sure it has some battery life left.
Potential solutions:
The first thing to try, is holding down the power button and the volume up button for a few seconds until you feel the tablet vibrate three times. Then, try turning it on again.
Have a look under the flap where the microSD card goes and you’ll see a red button. Use something blunt to press it in for a few seconds and the device should turn off. Try turning it on again.
If neither of those solutions works then plug your tablet into the charger for an hour. Then, try the same process again."

The damage to be repaired ie a crazed screen was correctly described so the cost of the part and time element would have been available before quoting. To have a 60% mark up on that initial quote when they had the tablet was a bit much, but I suppose not entirely unexpected with such a business model. -

As I'm not … read more very techy I phoned EP for advice. They were extremely helpful. I then took the earphones down to Hortonwood 30 as advised. Was greeted by a very pleasant and extremely helpful member of staff. He explained what they would do, what I would need to do and if I wanted to go ahead with the repair I could pay in person as he was aware of my computer situation.
On collection I was greeted by Norbert the very pleasant staff member again who handed me the headphones in a protective case. I was absolutely overjoyed. I thought they were beyond being fixed. How wrong could I be. They're definitely as good as new. -

I broke my Bose headphones trying to fit new ear cushions which proved impossible for me to fit. I found Electronic Partners … read more details online and contacted them. They paid for the postage of my headphones to them, assessed the damage and gave me a very reasonable quote to repair them. They fixed the damage and also fitted the ear cushions for me, then returned the headphones in perfect working order. They even offered me a one year warranty for their work which I took out for £10.
All in all a very professional and helpful service and gave me my much loved headphones back with new ear cushions and working perfectly. So much cheaper than buying a new pair. I would not hesitate to use them again in the future. -
