Last week noticed that tablet was taking hours to charge, also that the charger was not always staying firmly in the port, and coming slightly loose, and therefore not charging. Sat had my friend buy me a new charger, it is still taking hours to charge !
On Wed a friend took the tablet to a local shop in Rushden high st. She was told it was either the port, battery or both and something esle ! And quoted a huge sum. This person did not inspire our confindence. Furthermore I.am a disabled pensioner and can.t pay the ridiculous price quoted . I certainly can.t addord to buy a new one either ! Sorry if I.am vague about the tablet details, but don.t know much bot these things. All I can tell you is that it does charge but takes hours ! When it didi.nt before.
Could be the port, I have no idea. This tablet is my lifeline as can.t go out much. I use it mostly to sykpe my family and for e.mails ect. I.am lost without it, and would be grateful of an idea of cost please. Thank you

Whilst the repair to my tablet seems to be OK I think that there could have been a greater accuracy in the initial 'free' … read more quote for repair. The damage to be repaired ie a crazed screen was correctly described so the cost of the part and time element would have been available before quoting. To have a 60% mark up on that initial quote when they had the tablet was a bit much, but I suppose not entirely unexpected with such a business model. -

As I'm not … read more very techy I phoned EP for advice. They were extremely helpful. I then took the earphones down to Hortonwood 30 as advised. Was greeted by a very pleasant and extremely helpful member of staff. He explained what they would do, what I would need to do and if I wanted to go ahead with the repair I could pay in person as he was aware of my computer situation.
On collection I was greeted by Norbert the very pleasant staff member again who handed me the headphones in a protective case. I was absolutely overjoyed. I thought they were beyond being fixed. How wrong could I be. They're definitely as good as new. -

I broke my Bose headphones trying to fit new ear cushions which proved impossible for me to fit. I found Electronic Partners … read more details online and contacted them. They paid for the postage of my headphones to them, assessed the damage and gave me a very reasonable quote to repair them. They fixed the damage and also fitted the ear cushions for me, then returned the headphones in perfect working order. They even offered me a one year warranty for their work which I took out for £10.
All in all a very professional and helpful service and gave me my much loved headphones back with new ear cushions and working perfectly. So much cheaper than buying a new pair. I would not hesitate to use them again in the future. -

But, the process of requesting a quote, sending off my headphones, and making a payment was super easy and fast.
