ASUS ZenPad 3s z500m – Screen has a curvy crack on the left side of the screen and a spiderweb on the bottom left. The crack is more severe on the top left on the screen and the trajectory of which the crack encompasses on the left renders the screen unresponsive to touch. The right side and middle of the screen are completely unaffected, although it is inconvenient to have to go through repercussions to use the device at times as the NumPad keyboard is obligatory to use when typing the number 1 for instance as it resides at the left part of the screen which is unresponsive.
I think the entire screen may have to be replaced, but I'm not too sure. I have a picture.
How it was cracked – I have no idea. The device cracked after possibly 3 weeks of use, bought in late September 2017. It was never dropped; the only way I could imagine it had cracked was through touch pressure, although I never saw the screen crack in my hands. So how it cracked is a mystery to me.
The device hasn't been used at all for 2 months now, kept in a soft case.

The damage to be repaired ie a crazed screen was correctly described so the cost of the part and time element would have been available before quoting. As I'm not … read more very techy I phoned EP for advice. They were extremely helpful. I then took the earphones down to Hortonwood 30 as advised. Was greeted by a very pleasant and extremely helpful member of staff. He explained what they would do, what I would need to do and if I wanted to go ahead with the repair I could pay in person as he was aware of my computer situation.
On collection I was greeted by Norbert the very pleasant staff member again who handed me the headphones in a protective case. I was absolutely overjoyed. I thought they were beyond being fixed. How wrong could I be. They're definitely as good as new. -

I broke my Bose headphones trying to fit new ear cushions which proved impossible for me to fit. I found Electronic Partners … read more details online and contacted them. They paid for the postage of my headphones to them, assessed the damage and gave me a very reasonable quote to repair them. They fixed the damage and also fitted the ear cushions for me, then returned the headphones in perfect working order. They even offered me a one year warranty for their work which I took out for £10.
All in all a very professional and helpful service and gave me my much loved headphones back with new ear cushions and working perfectly. So much cheaper than buying a new pair. I would not hesitate to use them again in the future. -
