Hi,
I have some old 70's hi-fi separates that need repair.
A Rotel RX150A amplifier with a loud hum, especially in the left channel. Ive been through the troubleshooting and im pretty sure it is the amp, not the power outlet or any of the other separates. I think it must be the power supply in the amp.
I also have a Binatone 7000 cassette deck that worked fine last night after being stored for a long time, then today it wont play / fast forward / rewind. The power still comes on and the mechanism is still activated. I opened it up for a look and the belt doesnt seem to be broken.
Could you give me a quote for this please?

Was greeted by a very pleasant and extremely helpful member of staff. He explained what they would do, what I would need to do and if I wanted to go ahead with the repair I could pay in person as he was aware of my computer situation.
On collection I was greeted by Norbert the very pleasant staff member again who handed me the headphones in a protective case. I was absolutely overjoyed. I thought they were beyond being fixed. How wrong could I be. They're definitely as good as new. -

I broke my Bose headphones trying to fit new ear cushions which proved impossible for me to fit. I found Electronic Partners … read more details online and contacted them. They paid for the postage of my headphones to them, assessed the damage and gave me a very reasonable quote to repair them. They fixed the damage and also fitted the ear cushions for me, then returned the headphones in perfect working order. They even offered me a one year warranty for their work which I took out for £10.
All in all a very professional and helpful service and gave me my much loved headphones back with new ear cushions and working perfectly. So much cheaper than buying a new pair. I would not hesitate to use them again in the future.
