The radio and the tape motor are working fine, but when I start the tape it runs and plays for between 5-30 seconds and then stops when the play button pops up. If the play button is held down manually the Walkman keeps playing but makes a series of clicking sounds. This cut out doesn't occur when I run the fast forward or fast return. In these modes the tape stalls at its end but this time the button does not pop up as I believe it should and the motor carries on making a noise until I press the stop button.
I would be grateful if you could suggest the likely cause of these problems and an estimate of the repair/refurbishment. Please reply to the email address above. I'm sorry I don't know what SMS is so I haven't checked the box below.

The damage to be repaired ie a crazed screen was correctly described so the cost of the part and time element would have been available before quoting. Was greeted by a very pleasant and extremely helpful member of staff. He explained what they would do, what I would need to do and if I wanted to go ahead with the repair I could pay in person as he was aware of my computer situation.
On collection I was greeted by Norbert the very pleasant staff member again who handed me the headphones in a protective case. I was absolutely overjoyed. I thought they were beyond being fixed. How wrong could I be. They're definitely as good as new. -

I broke my Bose headphones trying to fit new ear cushions which proved impossible for me to fit. I found Electronic Partners … read more details online and contacted them. They paid for the postage of my headphones to them, assessed the damage and gave me a very reasonable quote to repair them. They fixed the damage and also fitted the ear cushions for me, then returned the headphones in perfect working order. They even offered me a one year warranty for their work which I took out for £10.
All in all a very professional and helpful service and gave me my much loved headphones back with new ear cushions and working perfectly. So much cheaper than buying a new pair. I would not hesitate to use them again in the future. -
