I’ve got a DJI phantom 3 4K, with a broken camera gimble following a spectacular crash into a wall by a photography student. I attempted a repair myself with official parts (new arm, ribbon and grey cable but I think the actual gimble board died(no green micro led), I then bought a second gimble and camera of eBay (parts only) but think this gimble board is dead too, now not getting WiFi from the aircraft either but RC is fine.
I’m a Design technology teacher but know my limits when it comes to electronics
Guessing it needs gimble board fixed/replaced and possibly a WiFi and camera one? Does this sound like something you can fix?
Can i send just the boards to be checked/ reparied?
To clarify i would send 2X camera boards, 2X Gimble boards and 1x wifi board in the hope that i can get 1 full set working?
What sort of price would this be to fix? doing this on behalf of a school so hoping to keep costs down.

Whilst the repair to my tablet seems to be OK I think that there could have been a greater accuracy in the initial 'free' … read more quote for repair. The damage to be repaired ie a crazed screen was correctly described so the cost of the part and time element would have been available before quoting. To have a 60% mark up on that initial quote when they had the tablet was a bit much, but I suppose not entirely unexpected with such a business model. -

Was greeted by a very pleasant and extremely helpful member of staff. He explained what they would do, what I would need to do and if I wanted to go ahead with the repair I could pay in person as he was aware of my computer situation.
On collection I was greeted by Norbert the very pleasant staff member again who handed me the headphones in a protective case. I was absolutely overjoyed. I thought they were beyond being fixed. How wrong could I be. They're definitely as good as new. -

I broke my Bose headphones trying to fit new ear cushions which proved impossible for me to fit. I found Electronic Partners … read more details online and contacted them. They paid for the postage of my headphones to them, assessed the damage and gave me a very reasonable quote to repair them. They fixed the damage and also fitted the ear cushions for me, then returned the headphones in perfect working order. They even offered me a one year warranty for their work which I took out for £10.
All in all a very professional and helpful service and gave me my much loved headphones back with new ear cushions and working perfectly. So much cheaper than buying a new pair. I would not hesitate to use them again in the future.
